You will have the opportunity to attend Part 1 online and Part 2 in person after which you will be eligible for 200-hours Yoga Alliance certificate that will enable you to teach others. Given the challenging schedule constraints for people, HSTY has designed a hybrid program schedule that gives you the best of both worlds
  • an opportunity to immerse yourself into traditional yoga from your home, as well as
  • a group collective experience in an exclusive residential program.

The scheduling has been designed such that participants have sufficient time to absorb and imbibe the lessons from the course so that they can emerge from the program as true yogis, fully equipped to share this knowledge with more students.

During the course you will establish a firm foundation of discipline that promotes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth while building a strong base from which to teach others naturally and with confidence.

This course will explain the essence of yoga as per the original teachings and the fundamentals of traditional yoga in detail, covering key aspects across asana practice, yoga theory, yoga scriptures and history, lifestyle and ethics, anatomy.

Through lessons and intensive practice, you will also learn how to conduct yoga classes for people from diverse backgrounds. Our Yoga Teacher Training Course provides you with the tools to teach confidently and comfortably. Throughout the program, you will learn how to apply your newfound knowledge in a real-life situation while interacting with fellow yogis. Besides the standard yoga curriculum, our course also includes an introduction to Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine) as well as an orientation to the ancient language of Sanskrit so that all teachers are fully grounded in the traditions associated with yoga and health.

Our Teacher Training Program Helps You to:

Certification

Graduates of the course receive internationally recognised certification. Certified by the worldwide Yoga Alliance for the 200 hours standard for Registered Yoga Schools (RYS)

Furthermore, HSTY is an Associate Centre of the Indian Yoga Association, an industry body of leading yoga institutions of India that is also a self-regulatory body.

What sets us apart?

In HSTY we do not look at yoga as exercise, but rather as a set of practices that help take one back to his/her original state. We look at yoga as a means to increase the awareness of one’s body and align the system to allow the expansion of consciousness.

HSTY’s yoga lessons are presented in the original form as it existed eons ago, with no change in form or presentation. Many of the contemporary Yoga schools pay more attention to the element of fitness, or the physical aspect, thus making Yoga practice suited to the specific interests of groups. Further, the ancient practices have been modified to support these specific interests thus reducing the holistic efficacy of yoga geared towards the body, mind and soul. The focus of these practices is on activity rather than awareness; seeking out rather than seeking within.

In such a scenario, HSTY remains loyal to the original teachings marked by the simplicity and depth of practice. Hence, Traditional Yoga is easy for people to adopt into their daily lives and benefit from the practice.

Through Traditional yoga, our physical body and subtle bodies are being cleansed and prepared for the high current energies that pass through the system of those who are ready for the ultimate blossoming of consciousness, the ultimate promise of yoga – the unity consciousness and state of yoga as a path and destination.
