Yoganusāsanam – Traditional Yoga in Modern Time

What is the course about?

Today’s modern busy life makes us experience stress, anxiety, low energy levels, depression and lack of balance in our work and personal life. In such times, the right yoga practice can help. Many look at yoga as just physical or breathing exercises; however, the traditional perspective emphasises the aspect of awareness – of our body, breath, mind and soul. The right approach to yoga helps you build immunity, good health, peace and contentment.

Traditional Yoga in Modern Time Course focuses on understanding the discipline – diving deep and connecting with our inner selves. This course will enhance your knowledge of traditional yoga – as practised in the ancient times, while staying relevant to our current times. It will also bring awareness, mindfulness and peace to your life.

Guided by Usha Lakshminarayan, Head of Yoga Studies at HSTY, the course would include practical sessions of asanas, pranayamas, meditation and relaxation techniques.
