Spoken Sanskrit Training

February 1, 2020 - February 10, 2020

Spoken Sanskrit Training, Belgrade, Serbia | 1st – 10th February 2010

By Himalayan School of Traditional Languages

Sanskrit: Ancient Language in Modern Society

Sanskrit is an ancient language that actually means “that which is refined.” Respected as the mother of all languages, about 97% of languages are directly or indirectly influenced by Sanskrit. Sanskrit language and literature form the greatest treasure and the finest heritage from India. The language has remained the same over thousands of years with no changes and is probably the only language with no foul words, as it is entirely positive in nature. Thus, it may be regarded as the language that inculcates the essence of moral values.

About Himalayan School of Traditional Languages (HSTL):

Based on Mohanji’s guidance and inspiration, HSTL intends to take Sanskrit to the world and spread it as widely as possible by making it trendy and accessible, shorn of misconceptions and biases.

Himalayan School of Traditional Languages offers the opportunity for everyone to learn the basics of Sanskrit through the Spoken Sanskrit programme.

HSTL has associated with a veteran scholar and the principal of a Sanskrit college in India to spearhead this initiative, along with other renowned scholars and experts of Sanskrit.

Sanskrit as the Language of Daily Life: About The Course:

The training programme is for 10 days with each session spanning over 2 intensive hours.

Each session will enable learning the practical aspects of Sanskrit in a scientific method.

Two expert Sanskrit faculty members will be leading the sessions and will be well equipped with modern methods of teaching.

The sessions will be focused on teaching through day-to-day conversations, interactively and practically.

Why Should You Learn Sanskrit:

Sanskrit is known to be a language that activates and rejuvenates those who speak it.  Sanskrit has an amazing wealth of words and synonyms to give great versatility. It has in fact over 70 words for water while English has just got one. Even ‘elephant’ has an amazing 100 synonyms in Sanskrit, each with a specific meaning.

The American space organisation NASA holds over 60,000 manuscripts written in Sanskrit on palm leaves under research and study for the various underlying ancient technologies revealed in the manuscripts.

If you have the thirst for the nectar of wisdom offered by the Vedas, sacred books and ancient scripts, then learning Sanskrit will help you understand firsthand their inner meanings and mysteries.
