Himalayan School of Traditional Yoga (HSTY) is happy to announce our next teacher’s training course (level 1). This is a residential program to be held at Rishikesh, one of India’s foremost spiritual power centres, situated on the banks of the holy river Ganga.

This course will explain the fundamentals of traditional yoga in detail, covering key aspects across asana practice, yoga theory, yoga scriptures and history, lifestyle and ethics, anatomy, besides explaining the spiritual significance of yoga. Through a series of practical lessons, you will also learn how to conduct yoga classes for beginners. Sincere seekers eager to learn yoga for their own practice would also benefit from this course.

HSTY is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance. Students who finish our Level 1 and Level 2 courses are eligible for the RYT-200 designation from Yoga Alliance. Our Level 2 course is likely to be scheduled in early 2019.

Venue: Koviloor Mutt, Rishikesh
Check-in and Check-out: 30th September, 2018 2pm -12th October 2018 10am
Daily Timings: 6.00am – 7.30pm; daily schedules to be shared with retreat participants
Format: Residential with all meals provided
